Johnson, USA, Canna 'Bubblegum' is a medium sized Premier Group cultivar; green foliage, elliptical shaped, acute apex, white margin, branching habit; oval main stems, coloured green; triangular flower stalks, coloured green; clusters of flowers are open, pink with a lavender blush, staminodes are medium size, edges regular, fully self-cleaning, average bloomer, flowers in early summer until frosts, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white and pink; tillering is slow.

Flowers are pink with an almost lavender overlay. Foliage is green. Sylvia Thomas came up with this name, which is a perfect description for this plant. Very pretty and unique! Fertile both ways. 4' (110 cm) tall.
