Introduced by Thor Dalebø of Normandy, France in 2006, Canna 'Doreen Morris' is a medium sized Premier Group cultivar; purple foliage, oval shaped, spreading habit; oval main stems, coloured purple; spikes of flowers are open, coral-pink with pale yellow stripes, stamen is pink and gold, fully self-cleaning, good bloomer, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter.
