A member of the River Series series, Canna 'River Mersey' is available from specialist growers; breeding is Canna 'River Avon' x Canna 'River Wye'.

The River Series cultivars have been bred to populate garden ponds that are just a few metres square, compared with the much larger Longwood Water Series destined for huge ponds and lakes.
