Antoine Wintzer was never one to avoid publicity, and we can see that these six French Group cannas were pushed hard. Unfortunately, we cannot pinpoint the year of this advert, but we know that the Empress of India (Queen Victoria) died at the age of 81 on 22 January 1901, so that helps pinpoint the advert period.
I do recall that in the early 2000's a correspondent in Canada was offering Canna 'Olympia', and of course I did have Canna 'Abraham Lincoln' in the Claines Canna Collection in that same period, but I was never enamoured with it and think that the advert was overselling it slightly.
